A Product Variant represents different attributes of a product, such as size, color, or material.
Example: A clothing store selling the same shirt in 2 colors (Black, White) and 3 sizes (Small, Medium, Large). Each combination can have its own stock and pricing.
SalesPlay POS allows multiple variations per product, including size, color, and material.
Special Note: To create a variant product, you must create it as a new product. You cannot convert an existing product into a variant by editing it.
Steps to Add Product Variants
Login to POS Back Office > Select “Products” from main menu
Go to the “Product List” > Click “Add Product” button
Enter the product name, regular unit price, and other details.
Tick ON “Variant Product” section
Click “Add Variants”
Enter attribute name (e.g., Size, Color) > Enter different names of attributes (e.g., Red, Black, Small, Medium, Large)
If variants have barcodes or stock, enter those details.
