How to Change the Payment Type Order

Overview

The Payment Types Priority feature allows businesses to establish a specific order in which different payment types are processed during a transaction. Customers may pay via cards, cash, mobile wallets, or gift cards, and this feature helps set the preferred sequence for payment methods.

Payment Type Order

After creating payment types, you can decide which payment types should appear first and their order. The POS system allows users to customize the order so that the most frequently used payment types appear at the top. Others can be accessed via the dropdown arrow.

Example: CARD, CREDIT, CASH

The first selected payment type will become the default payment type.

Steps to Change Payment Type Order

1. Log in to the Back Office Webportal.
2. Select Settings from the main menu.
3. Go to Payment Types.
4. Click the 3-dot button near Add Payment Type.
5. Click Change Order.
6. Click the burger mark and drag and drop the payment types in the desired order.
7. Click Save.
