How to Add a Product Description

What is a Product Description?

• A product description provides detailed information about the product, including how it was made and its components. It can be accessed via the “Product Information” button in the POS app.
• The description offers an overview of the product’s purpose, functionality, key features, technical specifications, dimensions, weight, and other relevant details to help potential buyers understand it better.
• Importance for cashiers:
  • Informed Customer Assistance: Cashiers can quickly access product details to answer customer questions accurately, improving service and trust.
  • Avoiding Confusion: Ensures cashiers understand differences between similar products and can guide customers correctly, reducing mistakes.

Steps to Add a Product Description

1. Login to POS Back Office > Select Products from the main menu > Go to the Product list.
2. Click the “Add Product” button.
3. Enter the product description in the provided field.
4. Click the “Save” button to save the product and its description.

How to Check Product Description in POS App

1. Open the POS App and go to New Sale from the main menu.
2. In every product, you can see the “i” (Information) button beside the price area.
3. Click the “Product Information” button to view:
   • Product name
   • Product description
   • Available stock
   • Product code
   • Price
   • Cost category
   • Barcode
   • Tax details
