You can create different employees or users in SalesPlay Back Office, each with custom roles and permissions. This ensures that employees only have access to the functions they need.
Special Note
When you set a Personal Identification Number (PIN) for yourself (Admin) or for employees using the Back Office, you will see a padlock or PIN icon in the POS app. Employees will use this PIN to log in to the POS.
Step 1: Access Employees Section
- Log in to SalesPlay Back Office
- Go to Users > Employees > Create Employee
Step 2: Set Your Admin PIN
Before creating your first employee, set your own Admin PIN.
Once set, you can assign PINs for your employees when you create them. Employees will use their PINs to log in to the POS app.
Step 3: Enter Employee Details
Enter the employee’s information:
- Full Name
- User Role (e.g., Cashier, Supervisor, Manager)
- POS Login PIN
Example User Roles:
- Cashier: Can only do billing
- Supervisor: Can check selected reports
- Manager: Can delete receipts

Step 4: Set POS Username
- Enter the employee’s POS username
- This username will appear on the main menu of the POS app during their shift
Step 5: Assign Shops
- Scroll down to assign the employee to one or more shops
- This ensures the employee has access only to the shops they are assigned

After completing these steps, your employee is ready to log in and start using the POS app according to their assigned role and permissions.
