How to Increase Modifier Quantity in SalesPlay POS

What is Modifier Quantity Increase?

The Modifier Quantity Increase feature allows you to adjust the quantity of specific modifiers added to a menu item during billing.

SalesPlay POS enables businesses to create customizable Modifier Groups. Cashiers can increase or decrease modifier quantities based on customer requests.

Example

For example, a restaurant offers a burger with multiple toppings such as cheese, lettuce, and sauces.

  • If a customer requests extra cheese or double lettuce,
  • Select the burger from the POS App.
  • Tap the item in the Item Cart.
  • Choose the modifier (e.g., lettuce).
  • Use the + / − buttons to increase or decrease the quantity.

Step-by-Step Guide to Increase Modifier Quantity

Step 1: Open a New Sale

Open the POS App → Tap New Sale → Select an item.

Step 2: Open Item from Cart

Tap the same item again in the Item Cart area to edit it.

Step 3: Select Modifier

Go to the MODIFIERS section and tap the relevant modifier.

  • A small black box with the number 1 will appear.

Step 4: Adjust Quantity

Tap the black number box.

  • You will see ( − 1 + ) controls.
  • Tap − to decrease quantity.
  • Tap + to increase quantity.

Step 5: Complete the Sale

Click Add → Then click Charge to proceed with billing.
