How to Perform Stock Count

Stock / Inventory Count

Inventory count, also known as stock count, refers to the process of physically counting
and recording the quantity of products or items in your inventory. In a POS system,
inventory counting involves comparing the actual physical stock on hand with the
recorded quantities in the system. This helps businesses maintain accurate and
up-to-date stock levels.

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1: Access Inventory Counts

Login to POS Back Office → Select “Inventory” from the main menu →
Go to “Inventory Counts”.

Step 2: Create a New Inventory Count

Click “Add Inventory Count” → Select the correct shop →
Choose the count type as “Partial” or “Full”.

Step 3: Select Products and Save

Select products from the dropdown by ticking them → Click the Add (+) icon →
Click “Save & Count”.

Step 4: Enter Counted Stock and Complete

Enter the counted stock values → Click “COMPLETE” and confirm.

  • After confirmation, you can download the stock count details in
PDF or CSV format. You can also print the count in
    80mm or A4 size.
