Step 1: Go to Printer Settings
SalesPlay POS App main menu > Select Settings > Select Printers
Step 2: Add or Edit Printer
Click the “Add (+)” button or edit the existing printer setup.
Step 3: Connect Cash Drawer
Tick on “Connect Cash drawer with printer” option > Click the “Save” button.
How to Enable / Disable Cash Drawer for Different Payment Types
- This feature allows you to turn ON/OFF the cash drawer for different payment types.
- Example: For card payments, some businesses may need to keep the cash drawer ON, while others may need to keep it OFF.
Step 4: Configure from SalesPlay POS Back Office
Login to SalesPlay POS Back Office > Select Settings from the main menu > Go to Payment Types.
Step 5: Select Payment Type
Click the relevant payment type.
Step 6: Enable or Disable Cash Drawer
Click the drop-down button near “Additional Options” >
Tick ON or OFF the “Cash drawer enable” button >
Click “Update”.
How to Open Cash Drawer Manually
Step 1: Navigate to New Sale
SalesPlay POS App main menu > Select “New Sale” > Click the 3-dot button on the right-hand upper section.
Step 2: Open Drawer
Click “Open Drawer”.
- Once you click “Open Drawer”, the cash drawer will open.
- To display the “Open Drawer” button, you must activate the
Shift Management
function via the SalesPlay POS Back Office FEATURE section.
