The Split Orders (or Split Check) feature in SalesPlay POS allows restaurants, cafes, and other businesses to divide a single customer order into multiple bills. This is useful when customers want to pay separately or share the cost of a meal.
Step-by-Step Guide to Splitting an Order
1. Open the Order

Navigate to Open Orders from the POS screen.

Select the order you want to split by ticking it.
2. Access the Split Option

Tap the Split icon (represented with two arrow heads).
3. Create Splits

By default, Split 1 and Split 2 will appear.

To add more splits, tap the ( + ) button.

Example: To split an order into 4 bills, tap the ( + ) button until 4 splits are created.

4. Select Items to Split

Tick the products you want to move from the main order.

Choose the target split (e.g., Split 2, Split 3, etc.).
5. Move Items

Tap Move Here to transfer the selected items to the chosen split.
6. Repeat as Needed

Continue the same process for all remaining items until each split is complete.
7. Add More Splits (Optional)

Use the ( + ) button at any time to add extra splits if needed.
Tip
If you already know the number of splits required (e.g., 4), create all splits first using the ( + ) button. Then move items into each split using Move Here for faster processing.
