Language Settings Guide

February 16, 2026

Overview

SalesPlay POS offers three language customization options to help businesses serve a global audience:

  • Receipt Printing Language – Change the language used for printed receipts.
  • POS App UI Language – Change the language of the POS application interface.
  • Backoffice UI Language – Change the language of the Backoffice interface.

These features enhance user experience, improve accuracy, and ensure smooth transactions for businesses operating in multilingual environments.

Receipt Printing Language Change

How to Change the Receipt Printing Language

SalesPlay POS supports receipt printing in multiple languages, including non-Latin scripts such as Chinese, Japanese, Arabic, Sinhala, Tamil, and more.

  1. Open the POS App and go to the Main Menu.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Tap Printers.
  4. Click the Add (+) button.
  5. Choose Printer Type as Receipts.
  6. Select the correct Printer Model. If your printer is not listed, choose Other Model.
  7. Choose the Connection Mode and configure other required settings.
  8. Select the appropriate Paper Size.
  9. Click Advanced Settings.
  10. Set Printer Mode to Graphic Enhanced.
  11. Click SAVE.

Tip: We recommend using the Graphic Enhanced option for non-Latin scripts. If you experience issues, try Graphic Legacy mode for better performance.
