To improve the performance and compatibility of the SalesPlay POS system, we are making an important update to the printer model settings.
Due to Google Play Store requirements, the SalesPlay Printer Model using the Xprinter SDK will no longer be supported in the SalesPlay POS app starting November 1, 2025.
This update ensures that the POS app continues to work smoothly and remains compliant with Google Play policies.
From November 1, 2025, the Xprinter SDK printer model will be removed from the SalesPlay POS app.
To prevent any interruptions to your printing process, the printer model for existing users has been automatically changed from “Xprinter” to “Other” during the next POS app update.
The updated version of the SalesPlay POS app, including this change, is planned to be released on the Google Play Store on October 29, 2025.
In most cases, no action is required. Your printer model will automatically update to “Other” after installing the new app version.
However, if you experience any issue or want to verify the setting manually, please follow the steps below:
1. Open the SalesPlay POS App.
2. Go to Settings.
3. Tap Printers.
4. Tap Edit on your connected printer.
5. Under Printer Model, select Other from the dropdown list.
6. Tap Save.
