The SalesPlay Self Order App ( KIOSK App) allows businesses to create a self-service kiosk where customers can browse products, customize orders, and place orders without staff assistance. Orders are automatically synchronized with the SalesPlay POS App in real time.
This guide explains how to configure the Self Order App from start to finish.
Before You Begin
Before setting up the Self Order App, ensure that you have:
- An active SalesPlay POS account
- Administrator access to the SalesPlay Back Office
- At least one configured shop
- A stable internet connection
- An Android device for the Self Order App
- (Optional) A compatible receipt printer
Step 1: Enable Self Ordering in Back Office
Before the kiosk can be used, you must create a Web Store URL.
To enable the Web Store
- Log in to the SalesPlay Back Office.
- Navigate to Integrations.
- Select Apps.
- Enable QR Ordering / Web Store.
- Open QR Ordering / Web Store from the left menu.
- Click Generate QR / Create Web Store.
- Select Web Store URL as the type.
- Enter the required information.
- Click Save.
Once saved, your kiosk is ready to connect to this Web Store.
Step 2: Install the SalesPlay Self Order App
- Download the SalesPlay Self Order App from Google Play.
- ( Download Link – https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.salesplay.kioskwebordering )
- Install the application.
- Open the app.
The application is now ready for login.
Step 3: Sign In
Use the same account credentials used for your SalesPlay POS.
- Enter your email address.
- Enter your password.
- Tap Sign In.
After signing in:
- Select the correct Shop
- Select the correct Device/Terminal
Once completed, your products will automatically synchronize with the kiosk.
Step 4: Configure the Receipt Printer (Optional)
If customers need printed receipts, configure a receipt printer.
During initial setup
You can configure the printer immediately after login.
Configure later
If you skipped this step:
- Long press anywhere on the kiosk screen.
- Open the Setup menu.
- Tap the Profile icon.
- Select Printer Setup.
- Enter the printer information.
- Test the printer.
- Save the configuration.
After configuration, customers will receive a printed receipt after placing an order.
Step 5: Customer Ordering Process
Once the kiosk is configured, customers can begin ordering.
Browse Products
Customers can:
- Browse product categories
- Search products
- View product images
- View prices
The app supports:
- Product Variants
- Product Modifiers
- Multiple Languages
Add Products
Customers simply tap the + button to add products.
They can:
- Change quantities
- Select variants
- Choose modifiers
- Add multiple items
Review Cart
Tap View Cart.
Customers can:
- Review selected products
- Change quantities
- Remove products
- Add additional products
Select Order Type
Choose one of the available order types:
- Dine In
- Takeaway
- Delivery
Then tap Place Order.
Enter Customer Information
Depending on the order type, customers may be asked to provide:
- First Name
- Last Name
- Phone Number
- Email Address
If changes are needed, select Update Order before confirming the order.
Order Confirmation
After the order is submitted:
- An order confirmation screen is displayed.
- An order reference number is generated.
- If a printer is configured, a receipt is printed automatically.
Customers can then:
- Place another order
- Return to the home screen
Step 6: Process Orders in SalesPlay POS
Every order placed through the Self Order App is automatically sent to the SalesPlay POS App.
To view incoming orders:
- Open the SalesPlay POS App.
- Navigate to Open Orders.
- Open the New Digital Orders section.
Cashiers can then:
- View new orders
- Accept or reject orders
- Continue the normal billing process
If Kitchen Order Ticket (KOT) or Bar Order Ticket (BOT) printing is configured, the order is automatically routed to the appropriate kitchen or bar printer.

- Check the internet connection on both devices.
Receipt is not printing
- Confirm the printer is configured correctly.
- Test the printer from Printer Setup.
- Verify the printer is powered on and connected.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can customers pay online?
Yes. If online payments are configured and supported on the device, customers can pay during checkout. Otherwise, they can pay at the counter when collecting their order.

Yes. Customers can switch between more than 15 supported languages using the language selector on the ordering screen.
