Step-by-step
The SalesPlay POS App has been improved to make registration, login, and user management smoother, faster, and more secure.
This article explains the key functions of the app, including:
Registration is the first step to create your SalesPlay POS account. You can register via the POS App or the SalesPlay Back Office.
Important: The email address used during registration will be your unique identifier and cannot be changed later.
Steps to Register via the POS App
Once registered, you can log in using the same email and password via the web portal.
If you registered through the web Back Office, you need to use “sign in” option to log in to the POS app using your same credentials.
Steps to Sign In
You are now ready to use the POS app for sales operations.
The Sign Out function is used many occasions including when you operate multiple businesses using the same POS device.
For example, you may use the POS for one business in the morning and another in the evening.
Note: Unsaved data will be lost when you sign out. Always save open orders before signing out.
Steps to Sign Out
Note: Printer setup will be cleared when you sign out, and you’ll need to reconfigure printers after signing back in.
The Log Out feature is different from Sign Out. It appears only when you have set Admin or Employee PINs in your Back Office.
This allows multiple employees to log in and out of the POS app securely during shift changes.
When Log Out Is Used
Steps to Log Out
If you forget your SalesPlay account password, you can reset it directly from the POS App.
Steps to Reset Password
Check your Spam, Junk, or Promotions tab if the email isn’t in your inbox.
If a cashier forgets their PIN, the Admin can reset or check it via the Back Office → Users → Employees section.
If you remember your password but want to change it for security reasons, you can do so through the SalesPlay Back Office.
Steps to Change Password
Changing your password will sign you out of all devices connected to your account (Back Office and Dashboard apps).
If you’ve forgotten your Back Office password, follow these steps:
Steps to Reset Password
Your password will now be successfully reset.
The PIN system provides additional security for employee logins on the POS App. Each employee can have a unique PIN, defined by their role and access level.
