What is the Blind Cash Up Feature in SalesPlay POS

The Blind Cash Up feature in SalesPlay POS enhances security by preventing potential fraud by cashiers or users. With this feature, cashiers do not see the expected cash amount during their shift, ensuring they cannot manipulate it. Instead, they input the actual cash value. If they need to view the expected amount, access must be granted through the Back Office user section.

This feature reduces the risk of misreporting and internal theft, promoting honesty in cash handling.

Advantages of the Blind Cash Up Feature

  • Mitigates the risk of intentional misreporting or manipulation of cash amounts by cashiers.
  • Acts as a deterrent against internal theft and fraud.
  • Promotes honesty and accountability in cash handling.

How to Activate Blind Cash Up

  1. Login to the POS Back Office Web Portal.
  2. Select Users from the main menu.

  4. Click on the already created user role.
  5. Select the Sale modules and click the dropdown icon.
